Our first gathering of the semester was a big success. I am very lucky to have such motivated students and parents at the Lexington Music School. We were joined by a wonderful guest artist; double bassist Ehud Ettun. The two of us performed two movements from Bach's first sonata for Viola da Gamba and Cembalo. We performed this piece on Double Bass and Piano. Ehud has recently joined Lexington Music School as a Faculty member. Great energy and enthusiasm! A very exciting afternoon. www.EhudEttun.com, www.lexingtonmusicschool.com

Exciting times in Lexington! ![]() The beginning of Autumn in New England, brings new ideas about repertoire and projected recitals in the future. After the wonderful success at Crocker Art Museum in August, I am now exploring new repertoire. While my Bach phase is still in full swing, I look forward to learning new solo music. Recitals with this new program will take place starting in December of 2013. Stay tuned...!! ![]() Very excited about collaborating with the wonderful double bassist Ehud Ettun! Ehud and I are aiming to record all of Bach's Sonatas for Viola da Gamba and Cembalo. We will be performing these pieces with a unique combination of instruments, Double Bass and Piano. As plans begin to unfold, we are very excited about what lies ahead. Masterclasses, Workshops and Recitals are all in the works. The two of us come from unique backgrounds: Ehud, Jazz and Classically trained from Jerusalem, Israel; and I'm from California having studied in Canada, Europe and the United States as a Classical Pianist. Looking forward to this! -Photo was taken at the Open House for Lexington Music School. Ehud and I are both Faculty members at LMS, located in the Monroe Center for the Arts in Lexington, Massachusetts. This photo was published in the Lexington Minuteman Newspaper. |
